Greetings from The Netherlands. As I'm not sure if there is an easier way to reach all European NBA/Basketball collectors on hokejovekarty, I thought I'll try it this way.

At this moment I am doing some research on our hobby of collecting American sportscards here in Europe. The main reason for this is because I think there is room for a LOT of improvement in many different ways.

That's why I would like to get in touch will ALL other European card-collectors here to get a better understanding of how
many of you are out there, What country you are from and what product/brand(s) you collect.

Hello All,

First of all a big THANK YOU to all who contacted me in the last month or so via the board, PM and/or email! I am still working fulltime on my businessplan for starting a European online store specialised in American sports cards. I'm also discussing matters with numerous European collectors telling me how my future online cardstore could help them and the hobby in general.

Right now, I am also in touch with people at Upper Deck, Topps, Panini, Ultra Pro, Max Protection, etc. discussing the possibilities for my future shop and things look promising there aswell.

I came up with several plans and ideas, some of them dating back to the early 80's when I started collecting myself as a young kid (Yup, I'm "old skool"... and that I can now implement in my future store.

If you haven't contacted me earlier or you would like to give me your views on how I could help YOU in the future, please let me know. It's greatly appreciated!

Some questions that I hope you will be able to answer are;

1) What's important for you in a cardshop?

2) What brands and products do you like to collect or look forward too and would you like me to carry in the future?

3) Do you ever pre-order products and how important is it for you to receive a product in Europe on or around the American release date?

4) Are you willing to use bank-transfer instead on Paypal if this would result in for instance a reduction on the postage-cost?
